How do you price your paintings?
18” by 24” paintings start at $200. Prices increase with size, skill, subject, materials, the amount of work I have, overhead and time (including site photos).
What if I want to view any paintings or arrangements on the website in person before purchasing?
If you only wish to view one piece I can come to your residence with the artwork. If you wish to view an entire series or more than one piece, you are welcome to come to my residence as my residence is my gallery. Please see Yelp for more information and schedule an appointment.
Can paintings, shoes and ceramics be shipped?
Yes. Being that paintings are on multi-media paper they can be rolled in a tube with a protective sheet and be shipped. They must be flattened out upon arrival which I will give instructions. Shipping and handling charges apply including the cost of the tube. Shoes and ceramics can be shipped with shipping and handling charges.
How should paintings get framed?
18” by 24” and 2’ by 3’ are standard sizes for ready-made frames. Other sizes must be customized by either you or me.
What if I don’t like a custom painting?
You don’t have to buy it. Satisfaction is guaranteed. However, I will not provide a free digital reproduction without a watermark.
Will you put my painting on your website?
Yes. All paintings will go onto my website and portraits with your face photo.
What do you need to paint a portrait?
Only a clear face pic is needed (preferably more than one).
What do you need to paint a location or scene?
Generally, I need to visit the site to take photos.
Do you sell prints or any products from your photos?
No, but many of the photos are subjects of paintings and I can make a painting of any of the photos.
How big a part of the creative process can I be on a piece of art?
You can be involved in every detail through direct communication as the art unfolds or be surprised by the end result. Just be upfront with your intentions and we can work together as little or as much as you like. If you are unsure you will like your custom painting, please be specific, detail oriented and work with me via text or email.
